At Piney Point Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Cypress, we understand that the idea of undergoing oral surgery can be intimidating. We want to make the entire process as easy as possible for our patients! We have been serving the greater Houston area for many years, and we are excited to expand our practice by opening the doors of our Cypress location. Would you like to learn a bit more about us? This blog post provides a basic introduction.
Meet Our Doctors
The doctors in our practice are true specialists in the field of oral surgery. For example, Dr. Steve Koo has worked in the field since 2007. In his nearly two decades of experience, he has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellowship status with the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. William Shepard is also highly accomplished. During his time at the medical school at University of Alabama at Birmingham, he served as chief resident. He has also handled many cases at our other Piney Point locations, and patients love him for his skill and welcoming demeanor.
Dr. Talal Beidas excelled during his years of formal education; he graduated in the top 2% of his class from the University of Texas at Austin. He even contributed three chapters to a prestigious textbook on oral surgery.
What We Offer
Our team offers services that you might not find at a general dentist’s office. For example, we can remove impacted wisdom teeth, correct complex jaw problems, help patients recover from facial trauma, and perform advanced dental implant surgeries.
We do all that with the help of state-of-the-art technology that makes for a more precise, less invasive treatment process. For example, our CT scanner allows us to create surgical guides that minimize the risk of human error. We also have advanced treatment planning software that allows us to collaborate with our patients with the goal of designing the best path forward for various treatments.
What You Can Expect
When you visit us, you can expect to be treated with courtesy and respect during every interaction. You can feel free to ask questions about your treatment plan, and we will be happy to explain any concepts that you struggle to understand.
We also know that some oral surgery services can cost quite a bit. That is why we welcome both dental and medical insurance. We can help you understand how your plan might apply in your situation, and we can file claims on your behalf. We also accept low-interest financing through CareCredit.
